We miss you Keiko

What I wouldn't give just to pet you once again

I miss you my sweet baby cat...

One year ago today was the last time we saw our sweet Keiko.

She left much to soon for the bridge.

I know she's in a better place,
But I wish that I could see her sweet face,
I know she's where she needs to be
Even though it's not here with me

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow,

I am the sun on ripened grain,

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
Forever I will be with you,
Within your heart I'm born anew.

Memory Lane Final Weekend

One year ago tomorrow, Keiko left us for the bridge. We still miss her furry much... join us tomorrow for more special memories =^_^= today we'd like to share some of our furavorite piksurs of her last year wif us.

Keiko loved to sit on the back of my computer chair.

Trixi wanted to help get toys out from under the dresser but her feet were too big. Keiko tried to show her how... proper technique is to roll upside down and then put your arm all the way under the dresser for maximum reach, MOL.

Upside down snoozer

Sunbeam lounger

Giving me that "how could you put this on me?" look.

soft silky snoozer

Zulu - Wordless Wednesday - Trouble

Look where Mom found me!!!

The door was only open a few inches so we could smell outside but I got in between and couldn't get out - OH NOOOO! The boy-hooman had to take the screen door out to get me and he bent it. I was in lots of trouble... and now when they are not home we can't sniff outside.... Luna is mads at me fur ruining our privileges... I is sorry! ::sad cat face::

Memory Lane Weekend II

Welcome to Memory Lane Weekend number II. These Keiko pictures range from age 3 months to 8 months.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Keiko (left) and Luna (right). It was taken the first night we had them home. They were so tiny !!

Little Keiko grew up fast, here she is just over 6 months old.

I think she liked the flashy box, she always seemed to pose like she knew what a pretty girl she was.

She loved to sit on my lap while I had my morning coffee.

Here she is 8 months old. Always the center of attention, following wherever I went to keep me company. Forever this Keiko shaped hole will be in my heart, but it will be always full of love and memories =^_^=
