Eddy has taken over

Oh hai, it's me, Eddy! I has highjacked dis bloggie. The Hoomans all went on vacation and didn't even tell us, we were left wif the Grandbean. He came and stayed here and shared my bedroom. I made sure to keep him awake the first night he was here by jumping all over the bed. It was pretty fun.

The other cats still hate me and make a lot of growlies when they come to visit. I met my brofur Zulu - and he ate all my food! Growling the whole time too... /sigh.

Dis is where I like to sleep, besides the window seat. Zulu comes in sometimes and takes my window seat and growls a lot... Luna won't even come closer than 5 feet away from me. I'm a big pushover, so I'm not sure why no one likes me... I don't even attack them. I am too afraid to come downstairs. The hoomans leave my door open all day but I rarely make it to the stairs. Does anyone have any ideas to help me?

  1. Oh Eddy...give it a little time...we're sure all of you will become good furiends!

Tell your humans to take it nice and slow with introducing you to the other kitties. Eating together and playing together will help.

  2. I agree with the Island Cats, it just takes time, and you can't rush it. You will get there, I know you will!

  4. Eddy, it's hard being the new brother, isn't it? Don't worry, these things just take time. We bet the others just need to get to know you a little better. Then they will love you (after all, what's not to love?).

  5. Eddy, as long as you are happy and nobody is fighting we say just take your time going downstairs. Maybe if you and the other two would swap rooms for a bit you could leave your smell around for them to get used to. These things take time.

  6. Wow Eddy, Luna and Zulu are hard cases! They just take more time than regular kitties, I guess!

  8. We wish we could help, but we haf problems too. Princeton, (our new kitteh) who turns out is Bengal, is not being accepted by our tuxie, Precious. He is such a sweet boy too! Mom's gonna get ginger calming pills fur Precious. And we are gonna try Feliway. If you could offer any advice on Bengals, please tell us. He is the same as our other kittehz, but definitely different. Sounds crazy, I know. Purrs and good luck!
